Mr. Philip Kollitsis (MD, DLO, FRCS)

Philip Kollitsis is a British trained surgeon with twenty five years experience in the ear, nose and throat field. After qualifying in Athens, he continued his surgical training in London at the Charing Cross Hospital, Northwick Park and Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. He obtained his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1992. He is listed on the General Medical Council's Specialist Register and he undergoes the GMC annual appraisals and ongoing professional training, recognized and accredited by this British Professional body. For the last sixteen years, Philip Kollitsis has been the ENT consultant for the British Forces in RAF Akrotiri as well as in private practice. His areas of expertise are Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Rhinoplastic Surgery and treatment of Snoring using Co2 laser. He also carries out all other forms of routine ENT surgery. He lectures and teaches in his area of specialization at the St. George's Medical school in Nicosia. He is also certified to practice aviation medicine and himself holds a Pilot's License. He has worked extensively with adult and child pathologies, both as a clinician and surgeon and brings this multifaceted experience to the ENT clinic in Nicosia.

He performs his operations in several clinics in Nicosia and with the patients preference in mind. Mr Kollitsis makes several working trips abroad and to the UK each year where he works in NHS hospitals and so is able to maintain his UK standards. He also maintains close professional relations with UK specialists in tertiary referral centers and has rapid access for referrals of patients should that be necessary.

He is fluent in both English and Greek.
